Garden at the Alois Alzheimer CenterFor many families there comes a point when caregiving at home is no longer feasible or affordable.  At that time, one of the best alternatives is experienced professional care from the Alois Alzheimer Center.  Families have indicated that the compassionate staff and therapeutic programs of the Center have created a better quality of life for their family member.  Our dementia-specific approach enables our carefully selected and highly trained staff to provide the necessary specialized care.  The Center provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing a family member is receiving loving care.  Our unique team of carefully selected and trained caregivers has enabled us to remain a national leader in specialized care.

Because Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive disease, the needs of an individual will change over time.  At the Center, the programs, environment and approaches to care change with the progressive needs of our residents.  We maximize resident capabilities and minimize barriers that interfere with their ability to function.  The Center provides 4 different levels of care to accommodate individuals throughout the disease process.

Resident PhotoFor over 20 years, the Center has served as one of the most experienced facilities of its kind.  Our staff believes individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia deserve all that life has to offer.  Respect for the individual and Preservation of dignity is paramount to our philosophy.  The person with dementia is accepted for who they are, not judged, but celebrated at their own level.  We are proud this philosophy has resulted in enhanced self-esteem, worthiness, and a sense of belonging for our residents.
