Respite

Caring for an older adult with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia at home can be a demanding, full-time job that leaves little time for oneself.  That’s why families, who often need a total rest from caregiving, trust the care of their family members to our Respite Care Program.  Respite care at the Alois Alzheimer Center is classified as full-time care on a short-term basis.  The individual receiving respite care in any stage of the disease process has the full services of the Center made available to them.  They receive comprehensive care in a secure environment where they can interact with others and enjoy planned activities and outings that stimulate mind and body.

With our Respite Care Program, family caregivers are free to attend to other obligations (business, vacation, visiting friends, etc, or simply take a break) without worry – knowing their loved ones are benefiting from the unique care provided at the Center.
