Volunteer at Alois!

Volunteers are instrumental in helping us fulfill our mission of providing quality healthcare in the community. Scientific studies have shown that individuals who volunteer enjoy several psychological and physical benefits including increased happiness, lower blood pressure, and a longer, healthier life.

Any individual age 14 and older can volunteer at The Alois Alzheimer Center. Whatever your motivation, we will work with you to find the best match for your particular talents, interests, and availability.

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers Serve in Many Ways:

  • Visiting with residents who lack a strong support system

  • Reading aloud newspapers/books/magazines

  • Playing cards

  • Putting together puzzles

  • Birthday & Special Occasion parties

  • Taking residents for walks

  • Church services

  • Pet visits

  • Office support

  • Teaching new skills

  • Arts & Crafts

  • Helping with BINGO, Chair Volleyball, & much more!
